As we discussed at the ARBA Convention in Minneapolis, the ANDRC Board is looking for feedback on the ANDRC Banquets.
We would like members input on whether or not to keep holding the banquet, and if we do, should we continue as we always have been, move the night of the banquet, have a luncheon or breakfast instead, change the menu to only appetizers and an open bar, etc.?
If members would like to discontinue the banquet, what options would members like to see to distribute the awards? Please keep in mind that we currently have about 200 awards that we give out.
Please note that any suggestions will be for future Conventions and National shows in 2012 or later. The banquets for both Pennsylvania and Indianapolis have been finalized and we are not looking to be making any changes this year.
The Board would just appreciate suggestions from the membership on what to do with declining banquet attendance, especially at the ARBA Convention. The Kansas Dwarf Specialty show was an exception.
I will summarize the information received and present the responses to the Board at our Board Meeting in Pennslyvania.
